4th ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING FORUM: “Novel materials & new business models in the creative industries”
The 4th ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING FORUM aims to identify successful business models, examining new materials for the creative industry and to present some of the best practices to link materials libraries, designers and additive manufacturing in the materials value chain.
On behalf of scientific and organizing committee we are pleased to present you the “4th ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING FORUM: Novel materials & new business models in the creative industries” to be held on Monday June 27th 2011 in Barcelona following the 2010 edition.
The 4th ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING FORUM aims to identify successful business models, examining new materials for the creative industry and to identify the best practices to link materials libraries and designers in the materials value chain.
Creative industries are at the crossroad between technology, culture, perceptions, “feelings”, creativity and innovation. A great challenge is to conceive a new material at the same time as a new product, thus also defining the appropriate production process thus bringing it down the production chain as fast as possible. The advantage of coupling product design with materials development via additive manufacturing is enormous.
The ultimate goal of the annual Additive Manufacturing Forum is “to offer an area to learn, discuss and conduct business around Additive Manufacturing”.
The 4th ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING FORUM is organized by the IQS, ELISAVA, and LEITAT Technological Center.
On behalf of the organizing committee of the “4th WORKSHOP ON ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING” and hoping the overall aim of the meeting is of your interest I want to encourage you to join us for another opportunity to know more about Additive Manufacturing.
We look forward meeting you on June 27th.
Yours faithfully,
The organising committee
